Yeah because kids that attend private school just cannot be bullies. That's not going to solve the problem. I am having a hard time believing that you've spoken with the kid's parents, the teacher and the principle and still nothing has been done. Everyone has a boss so go over the principle's head.

im not saying that there arent bullies in private school. there isnt another public school in the area. the next one is 2 miles down and i dont own a car

thats what the superintendent is. He said he is going to write to the school asking for the reports about all the fights that happened.

you would be surprised about the NYC school system. alot of teachers dont report stuff even though its part of their job because they dont want to deal with the stress.

Like I said, private school is not going to solve the problem. She could get bullied there as well. If she does, what's your next plan of action?

My friend went through this with a catholic school. They had to switch schools cause the kids were so mean to her. Her hair was down past her bum, she was bullied for her long hair, bullied cause she was native bullied cause they said she was fat and needed a tredmill. Said that her parents were fat and ugly and needed a tredmil. She had gum put in her hair and was spit on all the time.

Her teacher treied to shame her in front of everyone saying that she peed her pants and was a baby and all the kids laughed at her, when she actually spilled her juice on her lap. It was bad, she is a really smart kid top of her class and the kids didnt like it, plus she knew nothing about being catholic at all (they are) but dont actually use there religion.

It statred at 5 and they moved her schools this year just before turning 7. Now she is no longer bullied at all, and my friend is still fighting with her old school over it, even though she is not there anymore cause she believes the school needs to straighten up. Her dd has very low self esteem and they need counceling for her to get over the anxiey that those kids and her teacher put her through. Dont stop fighting, show your child that its important to have this resolved.

Good luck. To you and your lo.

I asked about switching her class when it first happened. The assistant principal said she was going to try and work on it because all the classes are packed. (which is understandable because they have 32 kids in each class that is only suppose to have 25)
