Just because I feel a bit bitchy (dont hate, you all know you have those days!)

I can't stand when girls say,"Omg I'm never giving birth vaginally, I'll have a c-section!"....then when I explain that it's a lot less painful to give birth vaginally (if all goes well of course) than to recover from MAJOR ABDOMINAL SURGERY, the chick still says,"I don't care I'm still having a c-section". Then proceeds to say she will never breastfeed either. When I explain your b**bs will still fill up with milk and be saggy no matter what and that its WAY healthier for baby it's, "I don't care, I'm still not, ugh."

Oh and donor breast milk is "gross" but drinking cow's milk isn't.

Took everything I had to hold my tongue and just nod my head :)

Feel free to add in any bitchy vents y'all would like to add!!! It's bitching time!

Totally unrelated, but I am also in a bitchy mood tonight, and SO keeps looking over from his Call of Duty game to watch what I'm doing online. He'll try to read or watch something, and then get back into his game and be like, "WHAT??? What did he say?" "What did that say?"
And he keeps touching me and trying to tickle me and shit and I am SOOOooo moody today because AF is here. It's pissing me off.

Hell at least you tried. I'll pass on c-section. I can do vaginal delivery. Unless there's a reason, I'll do a natural birth. No epidural.

I'll just second all your vents because those are all on my list of pet peeves as well. People just don't think.

Birth the way nature intended < major surgery
Powdered corn syrup, various oils and trace milk proteins from a random diseased cow < human milk from yourself or other member of YOUR OWN SPECIES

These should be no brainers... but apparently ya know, people don't have brains.

I feel like in a conversation where someone is unwilling to talk to you about something like a rational human being, and instead is sticking to their own opinion like glue (which we're all guilty of sometimes) the only way to get out with no bad feelings is, "okay, good luck!" (said sincerely) and a topic change. And now you know to avoid parenting/birthing topics with her since you probably won't see eye to eye.

Yeah exactly. And the only reason I give this girl advice - or anyone! - is because I've been there and I've had both a c-section and a VBAC. C-section was way worse.

And I stopped BF'ing at 6 weeks with my first and really regretted it. I'm supplementing now bc I had surgery on my breast but I plan on building my supply back up so I can EBF.

I just smiled and told her she may feel differently when that time in her life comes. I figured that was the nicest way to end the convo lol

IMO, there is absolutely nothing wrong with bringing up your own opinion in a conversation. And it's natural to feel aggravated/hurt when people don't even bother to consider what you're saying (although, again, everyone is guilty of this at some point, I'm not trying to say I'm a saint).

Lol kudos to anyone of you ladies who deal with husbands or SO's who are gamers! That shit would get on my nerves unless they had a man cave to go do it in

OP the same thing happened to me with my first. I totally stalked your page just now, and this is so off topic but how did your abscess I&D go?

Good for you! So many women don't see breastfeeding as something they should ever have to put any work or effort into, they just don't see how worth it it is. They think formula is just as good and why bother... it's really sad! I live in an area where LLL is insanely huge and there are babywearing mothers everywhere and there are many practicing home birth midwives and it is just the mecca of crunchiness. If I didn't use the internet I could be shielded completely but apparently I'm a masochist haha. Though I suppose I wouldn't be able to appreciate how awesome my area is if I don't know that it wasn't the norm!
