I haven't had any problems painting any of the rooms in my house except my bedroom :( its really frusterating me. Our color scheme is chocolate brown and like a blue-green color. Kind of like these colors http://mobile.walmart.com/m/phoenix;jsessionid=846D58F94A724A808FED00E7B4010F76#ip/Home-Essence-Baker-Bedding-Comforter-Set/17428714

We have some leftover brown paint from DDs trim in her room. We also have a half bath that I haven't decided if I want to do opposite of my bedroom or the same. Our trim is like a light beige neutral color. So I thought tht might look nice on the half bath wall and then do the trim whatever color I decide for the walls in te bedroom.

But I am debating if I want to do an accent wall or a solid color throughout. I have no idea how to paint this room. :? Any ideas?

we had something like that and our walls were all blue.. SO hated it, so when he fixed up our room, it became a maroon/reddish. lol.

depending how your room looks, you can do one blue wall and 3 brown.

That's what I was thinking. I was afraid brown would be too dark in there. Do you think it'd be ok? I've seen design shows where it looks romantic but of course eveything looks better on design shows haha :P so I wasn't 100% sure haha. Like I could picture it but not as well as I've envisioned the rest of my rooms inthe house. So I wanted some other perspectives :) thanks Jillian!!

it also depends how big the room is, how open it is, windows.. our room is big but has a lot of windows so nothing would be "too dark" for us.

also, i never check the DD thread... how is your daughter? is she home with you?!

Its pretty small. We have one tall window and there's 3 doors (closet bathroom and entrance). So that kind of breaks it up.
