Oh and back on to your original post for this. I just watched that scene and I see nothing wrong with how she handled the situation. Aubrey went to grab for the dog all she wanted was her to go sit down so she could help her. Thats called GOOD parenting.

I think my mom spend maybe 20 - 25 bucks on oops paint at home depot. And guess what, my sons welfare was more important to her than letting him getting splinters. There is another excuse... You seriously need to grow up.

Then move? That's your child. Why would you keep her in a house YOU feel is dirty?

If you are struggling that much then get on food stamps and cash assistance. If you can barely afford to keep you and your family alive how are you affording the pets? Food, littler, vet bills. Apply for housing help.

the cats are in the pics if you bother to look.

we are on food stamps and that's all we qualify for. the "housing help" around here, the houses are much much worse than this.

Honestly, I don't think you're in any position to judge at what age someone gets their child a pet when you have and infant AND a herd of pissing cats.

Am I missing something? Your MIL spent SIX thousand dollars to BUILD a f**king room...an entire room for a bunch of sick cats but it would have been too much to replace the carpet?

Thats how i took it.
OP better way to spend $6,000
give cats to humane society- free
replace carpet
paint the walls
have professional cleaners come and clean the house top to bottom

I just cant wrap my head around how someone would build a bunch of dying cats an entire room to piss and die in but doesn't want to give their child a safe home to live and grow in. f**king baffled! Omg..

they have a disease but as i said, you can't tell. and we didn't expect MIL to get a major pay cut. the floors was the next step but she spent her savings to get them out of the house.
