Quoting GrumpsMama.:" Soo lady like. :) LO has caught on to "OH GOD!" So, I stopped saying "OH GOD DAMNIT" He's kinda stopped. He doesn't say it as much"
I'm actually pretty good at censoring myself around the kids :P
I do. Not at work but other then that ya. I want my mouth to be better but eh. I'm not swearing at my kids so it's all good.
Quoting Moose's Mama:" I swear like crazy, I try to censor when I'm around the kids but it almost never happens"
But my daughter will ask me if what I said was an okay word to say, on the off chance that I let one of my words slip.
If I tell her it's a bad word and she catches me doing it again... she demands that I take a time out.
I called someone an asshole, while driving today. I heard "Yeah, ya nice-hole!" come out of my daughters mouth. She mimics what I say, but changes it so it's not a bad word. lol.
I try not to though
<blockquote><b>Quoting Ryloonjimama:</b>" Pretty straight forward."</blockquote>
Yes I do.
I'm no where near as bad as I used to be but I do cuss. I however don't see cuss words as bad words. I feel dirtier saying cock or pussy then I do saying fuck or asshole lol.
I will however teach my daughter there is a time and a place for certain words. But DH is a sailor and half the people he is around curse worse then I ever did so she's going to hear it regardless if I say the words or not.

I won't say the c word! I think it's a terrible word!
Quoting nutmeg.:" oops! That was meant to be "no reason"."
I know
Quoting pilot Jess:" <blockquote><b>Quoting nutmeg.:</b>" No. I'm of the belief that with a sufficient vocabulary, ... [snip!] ... expansive than his.... I just like the zest of emotion that "bad" words have. They flow like fine wine from my mind."
Between working with kids and having my own, I'm around little ears 24/7 so even if I wanted to "let them flow", there'd rarely be an opportunity!
I'll admit, I make truckers blush, especially when I'm mad. I don't curse around my mother and I really try not to curse around my kids.
Not a lot. It is totally situational. If I am in the right mood, I will, a lot - but never around my kids. I curse online & in emails a LOT...a lot,., a lot.
