Ok, so I had a baby last Feb. I BF'ed for a couple months, then started formula. I had my first visit from AF 6 months after he was born. I got an IUD, but was having some severe cramping, so I had it removed 2 months later. My periods were normal and regular, until January. I haven't had a period since December 15th. My SO says it's not possible for me to be pregnant again, since we have only had sex twice since then and he didn't get his. I have taken 2 tests in the last week and they were both negative. The first one, I took at night, the second the next morning. The second one at first showed positive, but then the line disappeared. Is that normal? Do you ladies think the test may have been defective? I'm not really having any other pregnancy symptoms. I'm just a little worried as to what might be going on. BTW, this will be my 4th baby, so I should know what to look for. LOL TIA

If it was within two minutes, like as the urine passed over the reagent strip, then no, that's not a real positive. The test takes two minutes to develop. But test again in a bit. It's possible to get pregnant without his ejaculating, because the precum has sperm in it, but not super likely.

Thanks, I was thinking to test again, just wasn't sure if I should.
