Quoting Ryleigh's Mama ♥:" !! I am over-protective. I don't trust just anyone to treat & watch my baby the way I would. ... [snip!] ... mine, & those are my breaks. I was seriously made to be a stay at home mom. Lol. There's nothing I don't love about it. "

Some woman at a store in our mall, whom I've seen often/always say hi to, told me I needed to let someone watch LB. Um, no. I'm not going to let some complete stranger watch my child because someone I hardly knows tells me to. I wouldn't even allow it if a family member said it to me.

I totally understand. And DH is every more protective than me! In fact, we are going to take the kids with us on our honeymoon at the end of the month. It won't be a "traditional" honeymoon, but at least we won't be worrying about the kids. Lol. For this special occasion I would love to let the kids stay with our parents, and we are honeymooning less than an hour from home so IF anything was to happen we would be able to fly home immeadiatly, but DH isn't having it, lol. This one time I just want to spend 2 days alone with DH but it's not gonna happen :/ I understand where he's coming from. But I do wish we could at least have our honeymoon to focus on each other for a couple days after the past 3 years of having the kids every single day. Other than that, I have no need for a "break" from my kids, lol.

Right?! Then they get offended when you tell them you have it handled or no thanks.

My son is well into two and I can count on two hands how many times I've left him with someone, lol. I'm too paranoid. Most people around here have pools, so just.. No. It takes two seconds for him to run to the pool while someone pees or something.
