I don't think people need to give a shit what actors think TBH, I hate when something goes down and everyone looks to celebrities like they know some shit.

I say that he is a voice of sorely needed reason among all of the other Hollywood types. It's nice to know that they're not all idiots.

I think that celebrities have just as much right as anyone else to talk about laws that affect their rights, as well as everyone elses.
as for what he said, I agree. I dont think that more gun legislation is going to help.
As far as I see, this is the reality. If you plan on using a gun illegally, then why are you going to obey the law in how you get your gun, or how you use it?

Sure he has just as much right as anyone else, but Mr. Die-Hard doesn't have an extensive knowledge on legislations or anything. I mean would we be debating what Joe, a plumper in south Carolina thinks? No. The only difference between him and some random guy is that he has followers and a platform to speak to people.

I agree with his opinion but I don't think actors and artists should speak on their opinions as they have the power to sway people for the wrong reasons. Not because he's a well educated man but because he's cool and makes badass movies.

Oh I agree it shouldn't be something that sways people.
I was more debating the topic, then trying to debate that he is right because he is a celebrity, blah blah blah.
I am pretty liberal, bush and Romney can kiss my ass and Obama, well, he isn't on my good side but I don't despise him. (Maybe except for the fact that I can't get more than 28 hours because of Obamacare).
But I think it's only common sense that if a criminal is going to use a gun in an illegal way, that's why aren't exactly interested in obtaining that gun legally.
