Less than 8 weeks to go. Most likely 6 (I am a 38 weeker- never gone a day past)

DH cleaned the carseat and all the baby clothes today. We now have appts every two weeks! We have also been completely sterilizing the house - washing walls, ceilings, windows and shampooing the carpets. My youngest daughter (20 months) even understands there is a baby in my tummy and has been doing a ton of baby doll play. We have her fully in underwear, and for the past month have been taking her everywhere with her underwear- no accidents! All the kids are excited. My oldest likes to hug and kiss my tummy and tell Jonas goodnight every night when I tuck him in. My 6 year old talks to my belly nonstop an has been relishing being there for the delivery as she was my big helper last time. My 5 yr old likes to sing Jonas songs and make silly noises. And my youngest, sweet baby girl- kisses my tummy and pats it and says "my baby jojo" while giggling.

Then there's Terry- non stop raspberries on the belly and he likes to sing to him too.

We are all so excited to meet him!

Not a very gripping post, I know, but hey, here's memories for me.

I'm probably weird, but I get super excited thinking about my labor. Never scared or anxious, I just really look forward to that part. It is so magical being on the process and knowing its only a brief matter of time until you meet your little one. Don't get me wrong- my labors are excruciatingly painful, but they go smoothly and being in the hospital for labor is just one of my all time favorite things in life LOL!

My last labor DH got us Thai food and bought flowers and a gorgeous bracelet- so I am also an excited spoiled little princess waiting to see what he does this time!

How is it with GD? I've never had this before. Is your doc considering an early induction due to your condition?

I'm "diet controlled" (I failed the glucose tolerance test...everything else is normal) so idk if that makes a difference....I literally haven't changed a thing cause I'm not a huge carb eater as is, my fingersticks are fine. I'm measuring within the 2 week normal no extra ultrasounds yet but I'm sure they're coming and based on that I guess well judge induction. The last 2 weeks there's an increased risk of still birth so as much as I don't want to be induced I'd take that over a still born anyday. I'm gonna try to avoid a c-section too but I feel like with my luck I'm gonna get one. I was just diagnosed 2 weeks ago so its all fairly new to me.
