I was going to make ham and cabbage for my best friends birthday dinner tonight, BUT because it's February in upstate NY, we are going to be pounded with snow ( around 10 inches to a foot), she's not coming here anymore.
So my question is, would it be okay to make the base for the soup today and freeze it till Wednesday, or would that be yucky?
Should be just fine. Soups are awesome for freezing.
