Is it sad that part of me is scared shitless to get pregnant again because I cannot handle having a Csection again? I mean everything went perfectly with my csection with DS there were no problems or anything but I had pretty bad PPD and a lot of issues bonding. Like I had to force myself to breast feed because it sickened me for awhile just because of what society has made breasts out to be... I still have issues with the Csection and it makes me want to cry when I think that I could have switched doctors and at least tried for the natural birth I wanted. At this point I don't care if I would have had severe tearing or anything I just want to have a natural childbirth and have that natural bond.. But since I am genetically predispositioned to have large children that could be impossible.

Can you not try for a regular birth this time?

I don't think it's sad I somewhat understand.

I had severe Hyperemesis and was in and out of the hospital my entire pregnancy. It was awful and no medicine could help. but I want a baby so bad I'm willing to go through it again

I can and that is what I am planning but I was planning on a regular birth last time too. I did what my OB said because she said I would be putting my child's life at unnecessary risk because of how big he was and I could kill him trying to birth him because of his size and because he was doing somersaults in my belly even at 39 weeks. I didn't do enough research to realize that he would do what he needed to do when the time came and that I could have just gotten a midwife.. I am going to attempt it this time but I am just scared it will end up this way again.

Oh wow! I'm sorry :( ...how big was your baby? And yeah I had a midwife with my second...so much better! And my son was 10.05lbs...I had him vaginally with only minimal first degree tearing...like only 2 stitches!

Will you get a midwife this pregnancy?
I'm sorry that you feel this way, but I think it;s a completely rational fear to have.

He was 10 lbs and I am seriously to the point that I don't care if I have a bad tear I feel like I need this though.

Yeah understandable! I'm sure all will be okay though. I highly suggest going with a midwife...hopefully things will go smoother

Yes I will. I actually have found a birthing center here and plan on using them. I want to do a homebirth but where I am moving I would be an hour or more away from that hospital so I figured that isn't the best idea and I would use this birthing center.
