Quoting Momma Rawks:" Yea... she said when she was eating the centipede thing, she had to catch it on her plate (apparently ... [snip!] ... legs moving around while she chewed it. I will definitely not be eating any of that, I don't even like seafood when it's dead!"
i love certain seafood (shrimp, crawfish, grab such like that). i gag at just the sight of centipedes or millipedes though.
Quoting Minion:" I ate a sucker with a bug inside of it when I was 16. I want to say it was a roach, but that just sounds ... [snip!] ... sounds nasty. I don't remember what kind of insect it was, but it was rather large. I think I got it at Universal Studios."

<blockquote><b>Quoting CottonCandyKiller:</b>" i can see that being normal down under. lol. i've thought about trying snake meat but Indian Jones has kind of deterred me on that one. what's witjuti grubs?"</blockquote>
If it is cooked right snake isn't too bad, but it isn't something I would go out I my way to eat often, it was apart of a cultural day when I was in primary school.
A witjuti grub is a large (white) wood-watering moth larvae, which can be eaten raw or lightly roasted - these were again at the Aboriginal cultural day along with honey ants, bush coconut and an array of different foods.
