I was 36 weeks and 5 days when I had my son via c-section. He was breech, they believed he had IUGR, and there was low fluid.

When I got the ultrasound, she said "Hmm...There's no fluid in here" and then checked my cervix. She never told me if it were open or closed, but I assumed closed because I had never dilated when I was checked before.

Now...How does one lose fluid while pregnant? Is the only way to have your water break?

I was induced early because of slow growth and low fluid... my placenta wasnt functioning the way it should have been so the baby was getting less than what it needed as a result the fluid dropped because the baby wasnt peeing as much or something like that...
