I bled heavily for a month, i got my first pp af at 16 months. He nursed frequently day and night that whole time, he's sort self weaning at 3 yrs.

It doesn't depend entirely on just EBF or not, some women who do ecological nursing (no paci or anything but breast by mouth, night and day) still get their period back really soon. Although it's more likely exclusively feeding directly from the breast on cue all the time will lead to a later return of your cycle, it's also possible that you're just one of the mama's who gets it sooner rather than later.

I ebf my daughter (vaginal birth) and I got my period at 5 weeks or so, I bled for a couple weeks after she was born then had a full blown period about 3 weeks later, but I was told that was because she slept through the night and I guess to put off your period you have to nurse every few hours. She started sleeping from 9pm-5am at about 3 weeks.

I will be wearing baby, no pacifier, but dad wants me to pump so he can feed her sometimes. Plus I'll pump to make snacks and stuff around 6 months.
