It is a shortened version BUT its not so much as a filler name as Rose is.

She was thinking of Ivory as a first name. I thought she should name her Zelda Ivory. Her last name is long, so a short middle name would be good.

I really wouldn't be talking about what my friends are naming their children on here whether or not you like it. That really isn't your place unless you asked her of course.

That's ridiculous. 90% of stuff on bg is others business or stuff that could be googled for an answer. It's a name, no one owns a copyright to it. Really what does it matter if OP posts about it?

I just said I wouldn't like it if someone was talking about what I was naming my child.

Then make sure it's kept a secret. People talk, it's human nature. Everyone judges. They can say they don't but any opinion is a judgment.

Word. And the reason I was asking is because I wanted to know how well it would be received on her end so I could back her up. I LOVE the name, as I already said... and I don't hate people who think differently.

Quoting Is that still my name?:" Zelda Rose. I love it. Just curious to know what you think..."

Zelda is nice. Rose is a filler. Nice name though.

I voted "meh" because I've never known a Zelda in real life and when I hear the name, I immediately think of Zelda from Pet Semetary. Not a pretty thought. So it's a very negative association. Of course I think of the game as well. If I met a cute little girl with the name, it would most likely change my opinion of it.
