i am almost 2 weeks postpartum and I just took my pulse and its 65 resting and 73 active... usually I have a resting h/r of 80s... im kinda freaked out... as this happened to anyone else????



i read about cardiomyopathy and stuff and am now super nervous..

calm down... it's a completely normal heart rate... both of them. Normal is 60-100... some even go lower at rest

My PP pulse was low too. It's normal and I think it's sometimes freaky because your heart rate is higher during pregnancy.

Try to remember your body is recovering from a major trauma, your body spent 10 months making extra blood, only for you to rapidly lose a lot at birth. It will take a while for your body recover, much longer than 2 weeks.

Why are you posting this again? You do realize for the last 10 months your body has gone through crazy changes its not going to go back to normal 2 weeks pp.
