Woah hold on
How is the doctor going to say your hcg (or whatever) levels are fine, then tell you that the baby is gone? Did they do an ultrasound? (They are supposed to!!!) I'm sorry for everything that's going on.

See, that's what I don't know. He said everything was fine but I'm miscarrying?! I am going tomorrow morning to the ultrasound to see what's up. I'm trying not to get my hopes up though :(

So at the hospital he tells your everything is fine, then when you left he thinks to himself "hmm no I think she is miscarrying" and then rings you to tell you?
No wonder your confused.
I would go get a second opinion if I were you and def get that ultrasound done.

I'm sorry your going through this, but I think it's totally wrong that he RANG you and told you this not only over the phone, but after you had already left.

I haven't bled much since leaving and haven't passed any clots. I just don't understand how he could say my cervix is closed, hCG was fine and then call after I leave and say he was wrong...

I don'tieither. Sounds like someone needs to get his stuff straight now... just take it easy and try to relax. If you're NOT miscarrying, the stress def won't help. ♥ prayin for the best!!!

Thank you! :)

I'm just going to take a few days to rest. I work from home so at least I don't have to stress about that. Ugh. My daughter (2.5 years old) was 10 weeks early, so I'm really hoping this isn't foreshadowing future pregnancies!

Just thought I would update.. I went in for the ultrasound and there was nothing. I knew already though because I bled all night.

We want to try again in about a year or so.

I didn't know if there were any ways to help prevent a miscarriage? If it makes a difference, I have a negative blood type and he has a positive type so I will need the rhogam shot eventually, right?

If a miscarriage is going to happen, there's no stopping it. And yes, you will more than likely need the shot. I'm sorry to hear that. ♥
