I went a specialist who can tell early what it is :) So at 16 weeks I found out I was having a boy and he was measuring 2 days ahead lookd great on 4d/3d :) well at my 18 week apt which is my real doc... she made me very disppointed and a bit sad , she said he has short legs and is measuring average and at 5 ounces same as 16 weeks, could she be wrong or is it differnt since she didnt do a 3d??? or is this normal?? and when does baby size come to the point of mattering like u will sorta know how big your baby is I know i sound crazy but I really want a 8 pound baby :)! thanks ladies .

I'm a little confused. You're saying your baby didn't grow in 2 weeks? That's not normal, unless the first place you went to just offered gender ultrasounds and not diagnostic ultrasounds.

Well, if your doctor said the baby is fine then the baby is probably fine.

I'm curious too. Was there a 12 week one your dr was comparing too?

Weights fluctuate and aren't accurate in u/s. short legs are a result of genetics. Nothing else. I wouldn't worry about weight right now. Babies gain the most in the last few weeks of gestation.

True. If your partner or you are shorter it's the cause.

And no I didn't care about weights. Not once.
I wanted healthy babies.
Mine were massive though!

But was it at two different drs?
Idk I had scans at 7,12 and 20 weeks.
I was never told weight.
With my first the dr just estimated he would be around 5 pounds prior toy induction.
He was 7 pound 10...@36 weeks. My second 9 and 37
