Whatever you do, don't use Santander.... if the car company even mentions them, run!!! Because they will try and take all your money, and even if you make arrangements to pay a certain day... they will harass you and call you 50 times until you can pay. I understand they want their money, but you have to have it to give it... I just tried paying the $200 I TOLD THEM I WAS GOING TO PAY... and they are saying "no. You have to pay at least $500 something." What the actual fuxk dude?! I'm tited of the crap!!! If DH doesn't start dealing with them, I'm going to be cussing some ignorant a*****es out!!! Smh that is all.

I assume you're late on the payment. I would expect them to call. Any company will do that.

If you're late paying, it makes sense that they want their money. Have you been habitually late? Or behind?

That would be stressful not having the cash to pay debts, hang in there, mamma.

Same here, I've only been late once in 5 years and I called them ahead of time to tell them

Did you agree to pay the full 500 today? I am assuming you had a payment arrangement set up by what you posted.

We are a little behind right now. But thing is, for some reason, they are charging us thousands more than what the car is worth. Idr exactly how much he said. I know they want their money... they know our situation, and last time I had to explain it they made me look bad bc I don't have a job. And cannot work until after the baby gets here. I know its a responsibility to pay bills. And if we are going to be late, we let them know. But sometimes, when we DO let them know. Like two weeks ago, Friday we said "we won't be able to pay til this upcoming Friday" Monday they were calling again. I just get so tired of feeling like I can't breathe bc we can barely get by. And we have a baby on the way!!! This is so... idk the word for it. Just I feel so bad...

When you finance they tack on tax title and license and other fees to the total so it's going to be more than what the car is worth.

We had a payment arrangement of $200 bc that's all we could pay. We only have a lil over $300 in the bank right now. I can't pay money we don't have... as I said before I get they want their money, but if you only have a hundred, you can't give 300.

I love them they are super nice and always very friendly when I call. Also I deal with the north Richland hills office, don't know if that makes a difference.

Well you definitely need to get the employee name and info next time so you can tell them who you made the arrangement with. Have you tried talking to a supervisor?

It's stressful to not have the money to pay bills, but at the same time if you are late, and you owe them the money, it isn't surprising they'd be calling to collect it. They don't know you personally. It's not about you personally. It's about a company that needs to pay it's employees, and thus needs the money they loaned out for your car.

It sucks, I'm sorry, but it really isn't something to be mad at them about

I understand but any company will do that. They will keep calling, regardless, until you pay them what you owe.
