Quoting Anja[VBA2C GRAD]:" It's flooded here so the kids are REALLY BORED (there was no school and all) . Like all day I've spent ... [snip!] ... But yeah other than that not much going on. Little peanut is busy little dude and I feel him all night so I hardly sleep lol."

Glad to hear everyone was ok. I've been taking all of this very hard this week. I grew up in Boston & lived there just until 3yrs when I moved here to KS. It's been really hard watching all of this unfold in my hometown and worrying about all of my family & friends!

Thankfully, no one I care about had been physically injured, but today was especially difficult. My sister works at Boston Children's' Hospital & was told to stay home today due to the manhunt. But, my mom works for a large investment bank & had to go in. When I woke up this morning, I found that her building had been locked down & had no power. I was so worried about her b/c she has a bad heart & the last time anything chaotic happened (they were evacuated for an earthquake), she ended up going to the hospital with chest pains. I could not reach her on her cell or work phone. I just feel like my emotions are heightened with this pregnancy.... so I could feel panic starting to arise & baby was moving and squirming a lot.

I finally turned to Facebook for help with reaching her --- finally a coworker's daughter posted that she'd talked to her mom & she said they were both fine & that my mom would call me. Of course, my mom gave me a stern lecture about allowing the stress & worry to affect me & her "little guy" --- but just knowing she was alright was all that I needed. I felt a lot better & she finally got home at 3pm (est). I'm so glad they finally were able to catch this guy tonight. I know I will sleep a little easier :)

Thank you! It's been a rough week --- it feels totally helpless to be so far away.

But, on a positive note ---- 24 WEEKS - 6 MONTHS TODAY! :D

TMI TMI TMI *

Im having some discharge. Its white & creamy usually looks like c*m honestly, but I noticed earlier it was kind of chunky like cottege cheese? Lol Sounds nasty, but im kind of concerned because i dont know what it is . I have been a little itchy down there , but I associated it with it being so hot & me getting sweaty . Cant call my DR till Monday so im hoping I can get an idea of what it may be /:

Does it smell bad? It could be a yeast infection (very common during pregnancy!)

I can't remember but I think my ob says in the beginning when you go for the talk of what you can eat and stuff that you can do the monostat one that takes a week? But idk. Your dr will tell you.

Nope, no smell at all!!! Im used to the white discharge, Ive had it my whole life , I blame it on the PCOS . Its just a tad bit worse since I got pregnant. But the curdly discharge is what has me stumped. I smelled it & looked to see if there was any in the toilet but it was only when I wiped . Is it still possibly a Yeast Infection? Is this something that can wait till Monday? I worry way to much lol I dont want to do anything " wrong".

Idk. I've never had a yeast infection. But I have lots of mucousy discharge (TMI Sorry) lol... I personally would probably just wait till monday unless my va***jay turned green or something crazy like that. lol. But if you are worried does your ob have an after hours line?

LOL!!!
I gave the after hrs dr a call, said it does sound like a yeast infection . As long as theres no blood, horrid smell (or sweet smell) or having pain its not something to be deathly afraid of lol . He said to get some monistat & go from there & to call back if anything changes for the worse .
Thanks for your help.
I would have worried myself sick .

If you're not itching, it's prob just a regular old discharge. I wouldn't stress it and just bring it up to Doc next visit. * If I had read further I wouldve seen all was well, huh?
