Quoting Daesey:" Oh yay! I haven't had a baby yet, but I'm fairly certain I'd rather have a vaginal birth as opposed ... [snip!] ... I guess? I'm excited for you! And I agree.... time seems to be FLYING by now! After today, I'll be at 99 days! Double digits!"

yeah c-sections are NO FUN!! I regret not fighting for a vbac with my son, and RCS is worse than an emergency CS if you really do want a vaginal. I felt like I just laid down and let them rip my baby from my body. :( No medical need at all. NEVER again.

So I went to the birthing center today and saw it and met the midwives. Everything's amazing except they discharge 2-4 hours after birth... And I'm an hour away. I can't imagine being discharged so early, I enjoy the two night stay with the extra help and rest. So I'm not going to be changing after all- which really bums me out but at the same time I know the nurses here and the routine so I know I'll have total control anyways. Blah, still a bummer.

I'm the exact opposite. I wish the hospital would discharge that quick. I just want to walk in, get some drugs, pop a baby out, get a stitch or 3 thrown in and go home.

I want zero drugs, to be left alone, to have a quiet labor, and to stay a night or two after so I can have the extra support.

If they try to keep me a night or two I'm gonna be sneaking out the door with my baby and hightailing it home, lol. I've seriously been considering having her at home then calling up " Oh I had a baby, send an ambulance in case I'm bleeding to hard" then leaving once we've all been checked out, but I honestly doubt I could do it with out the drugs.

Understood. I'm just not that kind of person, I'd much prefer to be on my own and left the heck alone once baby's out. I'm a very anti-help kinda girl, it drives me nuts. And I intended to go drug free the first time because I have issues with anesthetic, it doesn't work on me or works in reverse, so I try to avoid it at all costs but luckily it worked and helped me relax and get her out. I would've murdered my hubby without the drugs, lol.
