No more trimesters to look forward to now.
Just the whole process of getting these sweet angels here!

Its crazy how fast time is going now . Everyone seems so happy, I love it@ it seems like just last week we were all in our single digit weeks & anticipating getting to the "safe zone" ! Now we know ( except for the few suprises) what our babies are , & are all *almost* ready for these precious babies to be here ! I hope the rest of our pregnancies go as smoothly as they are now !
Will we be continuing this thread & the FB group once our babies are here ? I would love to post pics & updates as he grows & see how everyone elses babies are !

Well I had my OB appointment today . I'm up to 135 lbs, everything was good as far as little Kaz. He seems to be around a lb going by what they can see. Definitely still a little boy! They also say he has a cute little chubby face and it's really obvious. He really looks cute already though going by the ultrasound, doesn't look like a little alien anymore lol. My Fundal height is 23 weeks, but he measures 24 weeks. His heartrate was 140bpm

As for the placenta? It has moved up quite a bit for the time they gave me, they said a little bit of it is still on the opening of my cervix but it's moved considerably and it is moving in the direction it needs to. As long as it moves up just a little more I'm clear for a vaginal delivery .

Next appointment is June 3rd . My bedrest instructions are now just don't lift anything over 40 lbs still, no sex, no strenuous activity, though I was given permission to drive again. They told me to limit it, like no crazy highway /interstate driving but yeah. Also Glucose test next appointment, ew.

That is great about the placenta. And yeah my baby measures right on, but my fundus was as 21 when I was 23 weeks, oh well. And yeah I have the glucose test next appointment, too. ICK!

yay for no, GD. And Yeah I always have horrible heartburn and my last two babies were hairy, not head hairy, though lol. I mean they weren't bald, but they had fuzz on their foreheads, upper back and shoulders. heck my daughter is almost 5 and still has peach fuzz on her upper back and shoulders and my 2 year old son has s faint unibrow!! lol I use Zantac 75 and that helps.

Jalyn was a super active baby, after a while. I didn't feel her flutter or kick until i was 21 weeks and then she eventually worked her way up to being a high powered squirmer after 30 weeks I believe, and then she never stayed still. This one is the opposite. She started kicking at 18 weeks, but she's so mellow about it all. She'll kick once in a while for a few minutes but i can't see her moving except maybe once or twice a day if I sit and really wait for it. Each baby moves in its own way, some alot, some barely at all. As they get bigger you'll feel them more distinctly, but some quit moving so much once they lose the room to wiggle.

Quoting Daesey:" Thanks for the advice, I do appreciate it. I am open to see how things go, but I just want to be sure ... [snip!] ... be sure I have all options open to me at the same time. I'm not afraid to admit that I'm scared shitless about the whole thing."

With my first I was terrified of labor. I 20 questioned everyone I knew that had kids and tried to guess what the average would be and hoped for the best. I went into L&D the day before Jalyn was born with issues and there was this woman SCREAMING at the top of her lungs and I said "Screw this guys, I'm going home" I ended up back later that night and I never screamed, I moaned, but once I had my epi i was silent. The second Jalyn was out and laid on my belly I looked at my hubby and said 'Well that was easy, I could do that again" Everything everyone told me up until that time didn't hold true for me at all. Easier said than done, but try not to stress it, once you're in there and in labor nothing you worried about matters anymore. It will all be worth it in the end.

I honestly don't know how accurate the ultrasound is for weight though. They said it could be a few oz off either way but I'm hoping he's not smaller than a lb as that seems tiny as heck for the point we're at here. He's probably gonna only be 5-6 lbs at birth though they don't think he's going to be that big because I've only had one baby bigger than 6 lbs and that was the only one I carried to term. If I make it to term with this guy they say 7 at the most.

my baby was estimated to be 11oz at the 20 week scan and both my previous kids were 7 1/2lbs each, so your guy might be around that size. :) I have small babies, too.

Yeah with my first they said she'd be about 8.5lbs around 37 weeks and she was born 9 days late 7lbs 12oz. So hoping this one is about the same range.
