Well, I'm no longer an August DD member.
I had my LO yesterday at 4.24pm.
Hope everyone's deliveries go smoothly!

Good luck on the induction.

I'm hoping I don't need one, they told me they might try to induce me around 37-38 weeks due to blood pressure and I'm just like nope , don't wanna risk a 3rd c-section.

Thank you :D

I was induced with my daughter and it didnt end up in c-section and i know i was closed and not even effaced. I am 1 cm and 80% right now with my son, i dont expect a c-section but i know it can happen.

But did you have a c section with your first pregnancy? The risk of a repeat c section is significantly higher if you are induced rather than going into labour naturally. She will most likely need to be monitored the whole time even if she goes naturally to ensure her scar is not starting to rupture internally.

Oh ok. Totally different kettle of fish. I was a c section my first, the doctor will let me go natural but the risk of a repeat is to high with induction so I won't have that choice. If I need to have the baby they will schedule a c section.

Given that she has had 2 c sections I think her risk would be greater still.

Why were u induced? Do you need to be induced again this time?

I was induced with my first child at 36 weeks because she was not growing, had no amniotic fluid, and i had Pre E. No real reason i am being induced this time around to be honest. My hips just cant take it anymore, i am in severe pain and my Dr offered me an induction when i am 39 weeks.

Gosh I'm getting close to 36 weeks. As long as Kaz stays in for 1 more week starting sunday all good but I really want him to stay in until 38-39 weeks more.

36 weeks! 1-4 weeks left (hopefully) . Kaz, please don't be like your big sister and come at 36w5ds before the results of my strep-b test come back. Also stay in until 37 weeks . I started drinking red raspberry leaf tea last week , hoping that helps my labor when it happens, like I suspect it did last time. This is under direction of a midwife.

I'm seriously hoping monday's appointment isn't surprising in the sense that I'm going to have him this week surprising.
