I have no idea what we're doing tonight. I told my fiance' I'm broke as a joke this week and not to expect much, but I did make something from the heart for him (yeah, I couldn't even afford a card..), I used several pieces of scrapbook paper and cut them into fifty squares, then I used drawing paper and cut those into fifty smaller squares, on each piece of the drawing paper I wrote a reason why I loved him and glued them to each piece of scrapbook paper. I hole-punched the corner of each one and put them on a book ring. I'm really hoping he likes it because I've never done anything like this for him before, usually it's just a card with a silly singing stuffed animal or something lol.
And I have no idea what his plans are for me. I know he gets paid today so there's a chance of something, but I don't know. I won't get home until about seven tonight and he'll probably get home around the same time and we're usually in bed by about 10pm so it really doesn't give us much time to do anything.. but I guess we'll see.

This is exactly what I'm hoping for later, lol.

That sucks about the rain, but I've become so lame that I prefer to stay home during Valentine's Day:oops:. Our anniversary was just a few days ago and it's always a b***h trying to celebrate either day since a lot people do VDay early.

That is one of the cutest ideas I've ever heard of, seriously. I wouldn't even sweat your lack of funds after that, lol. Well I hope you guys are able to spend some down time together, even if it's short lived. DH and I rarely spend our anniversary or Valentine's Day together, something always comes up with his job so just being able to say that we're spending today together is a big deal for us, lol. What I'm doing tonight isn't anything that's really out of the norm, we almost always eat at home, I bake, and he's big on watching movies.

Aww, well thank you! I'm really hoping he likes it and doesn't look at me like, "Dafuq is this..?" lol. It took me FOREVER to make it though, so he better at least pretend to appreciate it lol. And we spend every evening together, we get home around the same time, one of us will cook dinner (usually me, sometimes him) and we'll eat while we watch a movie or whatever TV show we're into at the time (we're big on movies and shows too lol). Maybe you guys can find a way to make it special tonight.. VDay sex is always good hahah. If my man doesn't have any plans I'm gonna at least try to convince him to get me some chinese food lmao.

Mmm! I would definitely jump on ordering Chinese if he doesn't have anything planned. Man, I should have thought of that, lol.

And don't worry, I'm sure the look he will give you will be a lot better than the looks DH gave me on our anniversary...

First off, I'd just like to say we're not big gift givers. I mean every once in a while we do gifts, but it's never consistent. So, for our anniversary, I used some meme maker to make a sloth that said "Happy Anniversary" on it. I printed out a ton of them, cut out the background, and hid them around the house so they looked like they were creeping. When he came home from work I didn't say anything, I just waited for him to find them.

It's a crappy picture, but you get the idea. I was in tears from laughing so hard. he just gave me a bunch of weird looks and was like "Why? Why sloths?!" lol

lmfao That's epic! Definitely sounds like something I would do hahah. We're not big gift givers either so I'm wondering if he has anything up his sleeve for tonight. But yeah.. if he doesn't, I'm gonna play the guilt trip card and make him buy me Chinese food lol.
