Quoting Mrs. God of Thunder:" It sucks, man. I've seen Alivia, but not that crap... Until now."
<blockquote><b>Quoting Martian Child.:</b>" Olivia is gorgeous, I wanted to name my daughter that so badly. Alyvia is terrible, IMO. I don't like it at all. Ruins the flow/prettiness of the name."</blockquote>
<blockquote><b>Quoting IDGAF ❤:</b>" Lmfao.....I was going to say something on her fb post about it but I don't want to be rude. Would it be rude to say "Oh how come you don't like the traditional spelling of Olivia?" lol"</blockquote>
Ask how it's pronounced. just to call attention to the spelling.
Quoting willoughfam:" Ehhhh. I wouldn't do that. I like no so common names with normal spellings, but that is just me. I didn't ... [snip!] ... Oliva until my SIL named my niece that. But some people just spell things different. My sister named one of her kids Mathieu."
:? the eff? That's just stupid.
Alyvia is terrible.
I do not understand why that spelling is so common. It looks horrible. If you pronounce Olivia with an ah sound then whatever but Alyvia? Phonetically that looks like aly vee ah. Tell her that, that her craptastic trendy spelling doesnt make any damn sense. Ys cannot replace every vowel in a name and it will still sound "correct". Just tell her to stick to Alivia.
