how many of you screamed or yell during labor, what was the worst part about labor

I yelled with the last one. The worst part is when a large baby's head is coming out of your small vagina. The ring of fire is indescribable.

I didn't scream or yell, but I did black out a few times from the pain. After that, they strongly urged me to get an epi and I caved.

I stayed pretty calm with both. I got a little panicked when when I was transitioning and about to push, but I quickly just pushed it aside and pushed him out. I remember apologizing to the nurse "just in case" I was rude. She laughed at me and told me that I was fine.

I did. It hurt like hell. My epidural didn't really work for me. She was a rather large baby in my opinion, I never expected her to be as big as she was.

I didnt scream but I cried and moaned alot from the pain. I also snapped at my nurse alot because she kept trying to keep me in bed. Then I git my epi and was calm and relaxed. I even caught a nap :)

I was completely quiet through the whole thing both times. I have a very high pain tolerance and didnt even know I was for sure in labor the first time. I walked into the hospital.at 8 cm. I basically hyperventilated through that one because I felt like I couldnt breathe.

With my second I was completely prepared and easily breathed through my contractions. I felt no pain with her birth even though it was all natural.

Worst part of labor for me was the pressure. With my first they were basically holding baby in so we could wait for the midwife (who was stuck in traffic in a wreck from the snow storm). The pressure was unbearable.

With my second when it was time to push I just told the nurse that I was pushing with or without her and the midwife!

Yeah, trying NOT to push, when you KNOW it's time, is pure hell.

the first time, I was scared and crying/barfing/more cryng.

the second time I was making jokes, between pushes I was asking my partner if he was okay, I even gave him the cold cloth off my own head because he looked pale. haha

That is when I started to panic. They kept telling me to wait to be checked, and I was starting to freak out because I knew I had to push. My body wouldn't stop. They finally checked me and then ran me into the room to deliver him.

I didn't yell or anything like that. I made no noises at all really. I tried to control my breathing though because my natural instinct is to stop breathing when I'm in pain.

I was so used o being in labor.. my contractions were inconsistent for a week and a half. I was actually laughing, ready to get the show on the road!
I didn't make a peep.. I just focused on the tv during delivery
