well i only took 1 5mg vike or perk a day at the beginning then i went up to 2 so i let her nurse as much as she wanted i just was extra cautious about it. she never had formula in her whole life and i am thankful for that

yeah I was on percocet of months after getting of the IV narc's and it never bothered my daughter - I was on siezure meds too which can cause lethargy for almost a year and it never did anything. after the first few days post partum, very little medication will pass into the milk (excepting certian drugs like chemo and IVIG)

sadly my daughter had to have formula between when I got IVIG and had to dump and my friend arranging donor milk. Even if I didn't have the IVIG I would have had to suppliment since I was only getting a 1/2 oz total since I was so sick, but it was more about focusing my energy on pumping to keep sanity and look forward to something. thank god my daughter latched on as soon as I got home after being gone 2 months. We ended up nursing for 2.5 years minus those 2 months

lol people need to mind thier own business. I'm lucky that i have good support that either know enought to shut up or actively and publicly support natural weaning. My DH posts stuff on facebook all the time about it :)

I was so proud of so today. DD was a crab ass all day yesterday and today i told him i started my peroid. he said well that was why she was crabby and clingy lol. He knows the ins and outs of breastfeeding and its nice he talks about things like that. without him pushing an encouraging i dont know if i would have done it. b4 pregnany i didnt know breastmilk was best and he who has never had children b4 or breastfed himself knew alot of information about it when i became pregnant. he basically told me i was doing it and if i couldnt we would find donor milk. he was also sportive so it wasnt like do it and i am not going to help you.

his mom is so against it it isnt even funny.
