I try, doesn't work. I feel like an addict. If its in my house I eat it. I don't go and eat like a huge bag or anything I just have to have some everyday, if not then I will have a little glass of chocolate milk or something sweet.

Don't know what to tell you. Sucks you don't have self control.

Don't quit cold turkey it makes it really hard... slowly but surely cut out sweets... try one day without a week (and only little bits on the days you do have it...) I had the same issue cuz I craved sweets when I was pregnant and the cravings kept up after I had DS... but now I have 1 sugar day a week (but I also eat sweets on holidays and birthdays so that I'm not torturing myself) but I don't go crazy... I'll just have a brownie or a bar of chocolate. :) Try eating natural sugars more when you're craving chocolate... that helped me a ton! I love chocolate covered strawberries so having regular strawberries helped with my sugar cravings :) hope that helps :)

Switch to plain dark chocolate.

It works :) or at least it did for me... I've been going 1 1/2 months with just 1 sugar day a week (sundays... so today is an awesome day lol) and holidays... although DH was a sweetheart and only got me flowers (and a cute outfit I wanted) for valentine's day since I didn't want to have just a few chocolates from a heart and have it jut hanging over my head for a few days :)
