Kayvion just turned 3 on the 14th this month and yesterday he just out of no where started going pee on the potty.
He has been doing great. Had one accident yesterday. Woke up this morning went pee at like 10ish? It's 5:32 and he still hasn't had to pee! :? He has had a large glass of milk and a medium cup of water.
I keep offering him liquid but he says he isn't thirsty so I'm not trying to push it.
Has your LO's did this before?
Normal?

I don't see a problem. My son sometimes doesn't drink a lot.

Well I was really meaning is it normal for him to go this long without peeing?

Instead of offering him more to drink, why not take him to the washroom?

I have. Literally every 30-45 mins. He tries and tries for about 5-10 mins with the water running.

You don't think the water would be a distraction? lol.

And maybe he has gone without you knowing it.

We have tried with and with out the water because the first time the water helped him relax I guess you could say.
He has in boxer/briefs all day & can't get them off by himself.
He has been dry all day.

My daughter did this when we started. She went once, then had an accident and would hold her pee for hours or until we put a pull up on at night/nap time. Well she took a nap and I forgot to put on a pull up so I just made sure to really watch her when she woke up because I knew she'd have to pee. When she did, I took her straight to the potty sat her down and she went.

She didn't really have anymore accidents after that. One was because DH was playing the PS3 and his lazy ass told her to get me instead of taking her himself so she didn't quite make it and the other time was she got to the stool and didn't have enough time to sit lol.

Other than that we haven't had any accidents and it's been almost a month now. I think that first accident just kind of scared her.

Yeah he fell asleep as soon as I posted this so as soon as he wakes up I'm taking him straight to the potty.
Hopefully he is really ready this time and we can get rid of diapers/pull-ups by now.
Now that you say it I think the accident scared him yesterday and he is just trying really hard not to have one again. He was so bummed when it happened yesterday. All he kept saying was 'I tried mum, I tried' and I had to reassure him accidents happen.
