For the past two weeks or so ive been slowly losing my mucus plug and the past few days ive been losing a pretty decent amount of it. Around 6 tonight when i wiped there was a large amount but it was a bright pink. I laid down in bed and just got up again and had the same thing. Im not sure if i should be worrying or not because i do remember my doctor giving me a list of things to go to l&d for after 28 weeks and this being on there. However i also dont want to spend all night there and i feel silly running in there for things that arent worth worrying over. I had my previous daughter at 34 weeks but was induced and never had this issue. Ive been having some sharp pains in my inner thigh that make me feel like my legs are going to give out but i remember having something similar with my previous. Other than the blood, ive had dome cramping and lower back pain and my belly has been hard. Baby has been moving but all her movements feel lower. Am i overreacting and i should just call my doctor in the morning?

for me cramping and blood (more than slight spotting) always mean go in.

Can you call L&D and see why thy suggest? Or does you dr have an after hours system? If neither then I'd go in. Always better to be safe
