Crockpot Q- how would you cook this? A&J. ♥ 1 child; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 5613 posts

I'm feeding 6 people tomorrow. I wanted to do something that was little to no prep work. I have potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes

I love that kind of chicken that just falls apart and is so yummy and tender.

I have cans of cream of chicken soup
Cans of chicken broth
Carrots
Onions
All spices imaginable
And 3-4 lbs of chicken breast

How should I whip something together in the crock pot?

did chicken breasts in the crock pot this week. I just put them in the bottom and dumped a can of chream soup over top and cooked on low for 8 hours. I steamed the veggies on the stove. My chicken was excellent and fell apart :)

That's what I was thinking. Nice and easy lol

You could make slow cooked mashed motatoes? Or you could make a hearty stew with the chicken and vegtables. I personally use water and just let the vegtable flavor come out rather than using flavored broth

I take a bunch of crap, mostly some fruits and veggies with a couple spices, blend them in a food processor and cook on low for 6-8 hours. I've made some of the grossest sounding fruit/veggie blends that came out AMAZING! LOL The best so far was a pineapple/onion/tomato blend. My kids inhaled it!

You didn't list it but rice is stupid cheap... you can do a rice casserole in the cock pot (I did the other day). So yum and filling. The chicken pretty much boils in there so it gets super moist and "fall apart"y.

I've found a recipe online for crock pot beer chicken. It's a weight watchers recipe that is only 3 points. It was awesome!
