Quoting The Pretender:" <blockquote><b>Quoting ~Ice Princess~:</b>" It's a video. I couldn't find it elsewhere ... [snip!] ... coming into your home and trying to rape you- on his death cert I BELIEVE it'd be listed as homocide for the cause of death."

Never said anything about intent, did I?
No. Either way, it's when a person kills another person regardless of means.

That's why there are different degrees of murder. I think negligent homicide fits in this case. Not first degree murder.

Never claimed to be.
I'm not the one who initially claimed to know what homicide was and then gave the wrong definition.

You said earlier, trying to make it look like the officers had done something outright shady or mean, something along the lines of "they wouldn't have listed it as homicide for no reason" or some such garbage

I said they killed him, which they did. Even if it were from negligent behavior, they killed him. THAT is the definition of homicide. A person killing another person.

And yes, it was a little angry, but like I said, it has been everything that has been happening, not just this.

Cops everywhere need to be retrained or have a better screening process. There is clearly a lot of cover-ups and corruption. Not to mention, power hungry individuals.

And right here? You're implying it was something obviously malicious that killed the man because of the word homocide.

The different degrees of murder are irrelevant to homicide, as murder implies malice, and homicide does not.

So accept the idea that you do not have all the facts, and write your congressman a letter. You'll get much further there than you will jumping to conclusions on here.

I'm not implying anything by saying "something along those lines..."
That leaves it pretty wide open. And I already apologized because I thought my other post went through about him being held down in a dangerous position. But you must have skipped over that...
I've said repeatedly that it could have been from negligent behavior/actions.

And for someone who is trying to correct me on definitions and such, it's HOMICIDE. Jeesh.

Not really. Murdering someone means to put an end to and
they're synonyms for each other.

Are you serious?!?!

In the court of law, they are two different things. You can't change that, even with your dictionary.com references.

I'm not jumping to anything. You like putting words in my mouth. I said they killed him, which they did. It's a homicide. SOMEONE who was involved in his detaining/arrest killed him. Again, I do not think that they purposely did it, but their negligence led to his demise.
Of course I will.

It wouldn't be the first time. :D
