Yeah. It's not that important anyway, what's important is how well he's doing :D yay!!
Day 44 - Brett had a good day. In physical therapy they put him on the vibrating table and stood it up. He also got to get some fresh air today. They wheeled him outside in his chair. Thank you all for the continued prayers! ♥
Day 45 - Brett responded pretty well in physical therapy today. They had him laying on his belly & put a vibrating board on the table. They had him on his knees resting his elbows on the board to stretch him out. The therapists could feel him pushing up. He will be getting a smaller sized trach in the next couple days. This will be the last one before it comes out. :) While in his bed he is definitely moving his head, arms, and legs around a lot more. ♥
Day 46 - Brett got the smaller sized trach today. They say he is very close to getting it out. The physical therapist worked with him in his room today. She just streched him out really good. Then she put him in his therapy chair for 2 hrs. He was really moving his head and arms around a lot today. Even picking his head up off the bed. ♥
Day 47 - Not too much going on today. The physical therapist wasn't there to work with Brett. The nurses did put him in the recliner in his room for 3 hrs. He's still moving around a lot. ♥
Day 48 - Brett is still moving around a lot. In physical therapy today they made casts of his legs that they will be able to take on and off to help the therapists support his legs when they stand him up. After they were made they had him up a few times with their support. He did pretty well. Another good day. ♥

I love hearing about all of these good days!

Me too! I can't believe it's been 49 days (today).. So crazy.
Day 49 - Today in therapy they put the casts back on Brett's legs and the therapists helped support him while he stood up. He was up once for 10 minutes & then again for 12 minutes. They also worked with a wash cloth, helping him rub it on his face to get the feeling of it. Since he's returned from therapy he has been moving around in his bed. He has been lifting his head up off the bed a lot. ♥ Brett is very strong willed & has a lot to fight for!
Day 50 - The therapists worked with Brett again today, doing just about the same as they did yesterday. They are trying to get him use to his casts. His speech/swallowing therapist was in as well, she started giving him thick juice again. He did well with both therapy & swallowing. ♥ Another postive day!
Day 51 - Brett had a good day. They stood him up again in therapy and he did well with it. The therapists also tried putting a stong smelling cup of coffee under his nose for him to smell and they could tell he didn't like that at all. He got to eat some applesauce and did very well with swallowing it. He is now at a level 3 for his responsive level. :) He's moving on up! ♥
I just want to thank you guys for all the prayers! Things are getting better, slowly, but surely.

I can honestly say it makes my day when I log on here and see how well he's doing! It's amazing how I don't even know him and his story has touched my heart so much!

Day 52 - Brett did well in therapy again today! The therapists had him on the tilt table. They stood him up & released the top strap so his arms were free, then had him leaning on the vibrating table with his elbows. His speech/swallowing therapist gave him some tea & coffee today as well, he did well with swallowing both! ♥ Everyday is progress in some way, tiny steps at a time!
