Your pictures are amazing. I'm really bad with prices though.

Okay. Which would be better:

$150 with a $50 print credit

or

$200 with a CD with 15-20 images that is personalized like this:

Quoting Legendary Bonnie Beaver:" There's no way I'd charge $45. haha"

lol she is from a very small town. and i think she makes more on her prints. she does all the school pics and sports etc. she is constantly booked. plus she doesnt have a formal degree other than a few classes in college. her hubby makes really good money so she was able to buy thousand dollar cameras lol.

i like the cd option personally. and mil had a professional photographer that is trending in the country or some bull and paid 150 just for her to take the photos.

I like the 2nd. And I'm surprised she only charges $45.

And degrees in photography don't mean anything to me. All of my idols are self-taught and never went to school for them.

her prints are kind of crappy though. she has them ordered through somewhere. we have a big collage and it kinda looks pixalated up close. I was surprised the way she got the second one to look that way. dd was only 6 weeks and the way she propped her and angled it made her look like she was sitting up instead of laying down. she was charging less per session actually. and she throws in free stuff sometimes.

I would much rather the print credit, but that's because I know that the places I'd have print off the pictures wouldn't be as good as where you would go.

And I need to go find a picture and post it here, it was such a cute idea..

Are you wanting to lower or raise your prices?

I think the prices you have now are really reasonable.
The photographer I use still gives cd, which I like (I still order prints from her) to have.

I love having th pictures as back up, every know and then ill look on my computer at all my old pictures she's done.
