Is it safe to do?
I'm just trying to lose weight and get my body into shape before I conceive.
Will it affect me in ttc? Are there any risks involved?
just eat healthy and excercise.I wouldnt try any extreme/ crazy diets though. My doctor said that sometimes its harder to conceive when your overweight
Do it a healthy way and it is absolutely safe and can benefit you ttc and your baby. Is also something you can continue during pregnancy. Sign up for www.myfitnesspal.com (there is also a phone app) and keep track of calories, but make sure to eat a minimum of 1200 calories a day (starving is unsafe and doesn't work!) if you go to my profile you can find a link to my facebook page where I have more tips.but clean, healthy eating is the way to go (if it had a mother, came from something with a mother, or comes from the ground it is good. Processed/boxed/bagged/canned probably a bad idea).
I counted calories and was getting more active (not technically working out) when I was ttc. I lose 20 lbs right Before i got preg. It's actually a very good idea to lose weight and get in good eating habits right before getting preg. It'll help you stay healthier during your preg. Plus being overweight can affect your ability to conceive because it messes up your hormones. I ended up gaining the 20 lbs back that I lost while I was preg and was freaking out. But when I had her I ended up 11 lbs under my pre preg weight. I think it's because I continued to eat healthy and had good habits formed so I was actually losing weight as I was gaining baby weight if that makes Sense.
I was loosing weight while ttc my first. I don't think theres anything wrong with it

I just feel lost on where to exactly start.
I guess I'll start with counting calories and watching what I eat and how much.
I have horrible eating habits that have got to go, I do know that much.
And I need to figure out some type of plan for a workout.

I just lost 25lbs and just found out I am pregnant. I did weight watchers on-line and I really like it. My doc said to continue eating healthy and not to gain much if any weight with this pregnancy.
