Well my Ryleigh was born at 35 weeks :) So I wouldn't say so.. But I washed everything before I even hung it up. I didn't hang everything up until she moved to that size though. There will be outfits she never even got to wear, or will grow out of before she can wear that you could possibly still take back for store credit.

The big issue with bringing these clothes back though is that I didn't get a lot of gift receipts from my shower..... Or the receipts I have put away have magically gone missing lol.

I wish mine as i get them and put them in tubs that I have cleaned with the dreft surface spray stuff. You should be fine to do it now because anything could happen in the next few weeks... but that's coming from a mom with babies who like to come early :/

I washed mine after my shower around 31-32 weeks. Luckily, because I was sent via helicopter out of state at 34 weeks and she was born 35w 6d. So I don't think it's too early :)

Well, in that case I'd go ahead & wash them all while you have the time. Store the ones she won't wear for a while in those space saver bags or in tubs :)

I shouldn't? 95% of her clothes are brand new with the tags still on.. Should I just suck it up and wash them to be prepared? "</blockquote>

I'd wait until her room is fully done and organized - then tackle the clothes. Id say wash newborn-3 mo clothes since she could end up be a bigger baby, or smaller.

I would a good amount and tape gift receipts to anything you don't wash. If you don't have the gift receipt or the original receipt i would just wash it.
