what to feed my 8 mth old Jabri12 2 kids; Auburn, Washington 23 posts21st Feb '13
my baby girl is just over eight months old, and she is on stage two foods and formula. But a friend of mine has a baby that is six months old, and she is giving her yogurt and juice. I"m scared to give my baby dairy products or even chunks of food because I'm not sure when I am suppose to introduce those foods into her diet. I am afraid that I am holding her back.

At 8 months I started whole milk yogurt and cheese. Also if you haven't tried, try some really soft steamed veggies and see how lo does with them. :) Usually they chew WAY better than you think they will. :)

my nine month old refuses to eat baby food so since six months he has eaten what we eat. in fact if he doesn't get the same thing he throws a huge fit. yogurt is his absolute favorite, but he loves food in general. does she show interest in table foods? if she does start introducing them slowly, don't be afraid.

My daughter is almost 11 months old and she basically eats everything I eat for dinner (within means) but at 8 months she was eating whatever I felt comfortable giving her. Its all about your preference and what you feel comfortable with.

Quoting Kali'sMommy♥:" My daughter is almost 11 months old and she basically eats everything I eat for dinner (within means) ... [snip!] ... months she was eating whatever I felt comfortable giving her.
