I got induced( I got impatient and was stupid enough to let my doctor talk me into it) and I actually had a pretty decent experience with it. I was started on pitocin at 7, my doctor broke my water at about 7:15, and my son was born at exactly noon. Mind you though, I started being 3cm dilated, 90% effaced, and did it without an epidural. So it went faster than most. The contractions were awful though, just to warn you. I cried for the last hour of labor. I will definately never be induced again.

had high blood pressure from 28 weeks, i was closely monitored and induced by a stretch and sweep 4 days early due to a high level of protein in my urine, i was already 2cm when i had the stretch and sweep and had my bloody show that morning, as soon as he did the stretch and sweep contractions started and i had a healthy baby girl 10 hours later, no epi just gas and air, it was a great labor and very glad i dint need pit or anything. If you can go naturally really try to but dont mess around with pre e
