Can you imagine what would happen in NY if they found out something like this was happening? That poor kid would be in foster care or in some institution. :(

Yeah I wasnt sure if she meant I was obtaining it in a state where it's legal, or if I was legally obtaining it for my child lol. I just woke up.

Agreed. It's ridiculous. You'd think we have bigger fish to fry over here but nope! They treat MJ possession as heavy as coke possession, pills.....lame.

Right now she just puts it in his food. I'm sure he could get approved for it for medicinal use though. Especially now that recreational use is legal.

Hmmm this is interesting. I'm a marijuana user myself, but I don't think I would approve of this. I just don't think anyone under 18 should ingest marijuana even for medicinal purposes, because the body is still developing so much. I probably wouldn't even have my child on any medication, I'd try natural therapies before any drug. But I've never had an autistic child and I don't know the struggle with it. Personally, I wouldn't. But I wouldn't shun others for doing it.

but being put on a cocktail of medication that changes the way your brain works is OK???? this is a natural medicine, it is not a drug.

She didn't say that. She wouldn't want to medicate at all but since she doesn't have an autistic child she can't say for sure what she would do.

I can't say I would ever drug my child or put him into any kind of high state so that way he could be more tolerable. Whether it be medication or weed. I WOULD NOT.

right sorry .. but seriously .. people that have their panties in a bunch over this i think are selfish. When you compare marijuana use to pharmaceutical use in this situations , the answer is so clear its sad!
