Quoting Mrs.Pinkman:" It really depends on what they're in jail for. If they're in for things like petty theft then all the ... [snip!] ... citizens. But if they're in jail for rape, molestation, murder, etc.. then they don't deserve to get out of jail ever."

But the thing is.. they will. Most of them will get out regardless of if they hide in their cell plotting their plans for release or read and write book reports. They will (almost) all be getting out.

My friend's murderers got 80+ years for murdering him. They were already in their 30s at the time. Even if you knock two years off their sentence, they're going to die in there.

So I just sort of see it as... More power to ya if you want to try to reduce your sentence. It's not going to make much of a difference for these lifers who will die in prison before their sentences are up, reduced or not.

I think its a good idea, depending on what they are there for and how long their sentence is. Like you said most places with good behavior and max sentence they really arent that long. I've seen guys go to jail for 3 years for rape or abuse. Not long enough especially if you offer this program to them.
