What is a good wrap for a first timer? Please help! It's going to be summer soon and hot, hot, hot! I'm 5'4" and 125 lbs. and my LO is 15 lbs. 30 inches if that matters. Not really sure on all the carries that I want to do, but know I want to back carry for sure. Anyone suggest a good size and fabric I need. Thanks!!

You have a ton of options! I'd recommend a woven for sure. What's your budget? Are you a member of the babywearing swap on Facebook?

I am on the FB swap.... Don't really want to spend a lot in case I don't like it. I have a boba wrap and hate it! What size do you suggest?

I think you could do most things with a five! C&C wraps aren't fancy, but they're inexpensive and might worth trying out to see if you like wovens before spending a lot of money?

The First Spring line might not be as supportive and the Biotiful may be a little more beastly than you'd want as a new wrapper, but anything else on that page should be perfect!

Hey ladies! I'm interested in the woven wraps for the newbie coming. I'm due in December but it never gets too cold in Florida. But I'm looking for something to last from birth - whenever. I had a Moby with my son but it was way too hot and uncomfortable.

Ideas?

Linen wraps are great for warmer weather. I believe woven wraps don't actually have a weight limit on them so they are good for all ages.

Can you make them yourself or are they only sold online? I don't want to spend a fortune although it will be my alternative to buying a stroller.
