Quoting MarissaPayne:" Most SSC's can be used with front, hip and back carries. And woven wraps you can use in any position. "

I was trying to look on the link you gave for the different positions and I got a little confused. What do you use that doubles as a back/front carrier?

So excited this popped up!

Ds loved the moby until he learned to roll over at 3 months... Then he was on a mission to move and would get mad... :(.

I'm thinking of getting an ergo for him. He is 1 and about 22 lbs. I think he'd like being on my back. Would that be a good choice?

I use woven wraps mostly and they can be used for any carry you can figure out, lol. I also have an ergo that can be used for front and back carries.

An ergo would definitely be good, you could also look into Boba, Beco, Kinderpack and Manduca.

I use woven wraps, many different brands. In my stash right now I have Oscha, Nati-Baby and Kokadi.

are there any wraps that would be good to take out wading in a lake? Something that can easily be washed and is supportive? I'd love to wear my LO out in the water this summer but I'd like to do it safely and I don't want to ruin a wrap/carrier by taking it in the water.
