Going out WHILE potty training... Dude, you Fugly! 18 kids; Winston-Salem, North Carolina 19869 posts

So my youngest is very delayed in a few things and potty training is one. It has been a battle for the last few months. I kinda just let go of it and stopped worrying and a few days ago she just picked it back up on her own. She has NEVER pooped in her potty until yesterday and today of all the months trying. So I feel she may have finally gotten this thing down. No accidents all day long. Well we are about to go up town. I really want to say bump the diapers all together. Because I feel that could hold her back again if she just goes in them one time. When you were potty training, when did you go up town for a few hours without a diaper? This makes about 4 days accident free. & only wearing a diaper at bedtime and up town for only short periods of time.

I would make quick trips into town with panties only if Johanna had stayed dry for a whole week. I would bring extra clothes and stuff just in case.

I did whenever DS was using the potty all day... I just took extra clothes and made sure to ask him every 15 mins or so if he had to potty :)

Bring an entire extra outfit or two. Place a plastic grocery bag under her butt in the carseat. Just make sure to take her potty without asking. Bring post it notes to cover the automatic flush sensor, that going off could scare her.

Bring extra panties, pants and socks. Ask them if they have to potty often.
