Anyone use these? They are a bit pricey, but my BFF swears by them. I want something that has high absorbency and will last. She says these are expandable and worked great.

I've heard good things. But u have to remember just cause they work for her kid doesn't Mean they're the best for yours. There's like a million brandsif dipes out there. Try a few diff ones. I prefer wahms. They seem to last good cause they're made by hand not mass produced.

I haven't tried them but I found some really cheap used one yesterday at a consignment sale.

My favorite so far is the fuzzibunz, but I have only tried maybe 3 brands as of yet.

We use Bumgenius Elemental's along with other work at home mom brands, and a few other mainstream brands.

The fit is weird, but they are super absorbent, and are in good shape.

List

Fuzzibunz- 12 pack 199.99$
Bum Genius- 12 pack for 215.95$
Sun Babies- 24 for 96$ non expanding
Grovia- 12 pack 258.99$
Charlie Bananas- 12 for 119.88$
WAHM- short on time, and this seems to be a generic term for cloth diapers

I am going to read reviews for all. She told me that testing the various types out ended up costing her tons, and I don't want to go that route.

Thank you Ladies!

We have bumgenius and love them! That do expand but if you're getting them for a newborn you need the newborn ones. Unless your newborn is 8 lbs.

They are all costly! I am also considering making my own if I can't settle on a brand and I don't get any at my diaper party.

Grovias are nice. I have some NB AIOs and they're lasting me the longest next to one of my wahm brands. My other wahm brands are outgrown at 8lbs :( she could wear them but they're leaking cause they're not getting a good fit anymore. Now we're using flats and covers which is a super cheap option you could use before you decide. You could get wahm dipes by April. It usually takes a month. Grovias ship fast. I think it was like 2-3 days. I also have AI2 Grovias but I haven't used them yet since the NB Grovias fit still.

there are pros and cons to them. I've heard they sometimes don't fit baby right and leak (I guess that could be for any brand)

I'm trying Alvababy. I'm part of a co-op and got 4 w/out inserts for 17.00 w/shipping. The inserts will only cost me about another 10.00 + shipping. So, for the price of 1 custom or a couple of name brand, I'm getting 4 newborn diapers. :)

It wouldn't really cost a fortune, though, especially if you buy them used.

I personally wouldn't go out and buy 12, 24, whatever of the SAME diaper, especially before you know it works for you. As it is, I had a huge variety of diapers when I first started, and I've destashed 3/4 of my old stash. Now, I finally have diapers that I actually like.

After reading numerous reviews I have decided to go with bum genius- my mother is going to buy the 12 pack, so I will update here in a little over a month to let you all know what I thought.

Love bg os with snaps. I don't care for the Velcro version. I love my squishy butt the best but only have 2 Atm. I also like the itti bitti d'lish and swaddlebees. Swaddlebees are my favorite big brand but I like squishy butts better than them. Good luck. Alvas are awesome as well.
