How soon aftersurgical abortion until I start to feel normal again? As in no more morning sickness, more energy, just more myself...after the procedure will I feel like doing anything or going anywhere?

and screw Texas lawmakers for requiring two separate appointments for abortion..makes an emotional decision even worse..

I had surgery to remove a pregnancy but my symptoms were gone almost immediately. Once I woke up from surgery I didnt have the morning sickness or drained feeling.

I'd assume it'd be similar to a miscarriage so it could be gone as soon as it's over to hanging on for a week or so. It probably depends on how long your body takes to get rid of the hCG.

well that's good to know...I guess I was worried it would take a few days for hcg to drop off

I felt better within hours of my surgical abortion when it came to morning sickness. You may wanna sleep for a few hours after because the stuff you'll be given to knock you out during may not have worn off all the way. but physically you should be completely back to normal within two weeks. Your period should take about 4 - 8 weeks to return.
I agree, f**k TX's abortion laws.
Best of luck momma.

I was the same way. Physically I was back to normal in about 2 weeks but the morning sickness was gone right away.
