I don't think I could abort after 9 or 10 weeks, unless there was a medical need. Anything after that makes me very uncomfortable.

My oldest is fine and my last had really mild signs of it but after some PT he seems to be ok. We didn't find out what my other 2 had until after my last was born so this pregnancy I'm not sure what to do.

I was shocked by this pregnancy and I'm excited but I'm more worried/ concerned then anything else. I've always loved being pregnant but when my dr told me I needed to see all of these specialty dr's it made me terrified. I just feel lost on what I should do.

If you don't mind me asking, is their life expectancy shortened?

From what his dr said no, but the disorder is progressive so everything starts to break down and die i.e eye sight, hearing, mobility, bowel/bladder control. Speech along with cognitive behavior diminish as well.

Thank you. I feel bad that I have to put my son through so much, I mean when do you say enough is enough and just let go?

Since most scientists agree that babies in the womb feel pain between 20-28 weeks IMO anything after 20 weeks is murder except in the case of major health risks for the mother or major health problems for the baby. I don't think anyone's rights to their body makes it okay to put an unborn baby through the pain of having a needle passed through their chest and into their heart (usually takes the doctor more than one try) and then be injected with a poison to stop their heart in some cases or better yet just go in and start pulling limbs off of a fetus that can feel everything happening. Before 20 weeks I have no problem with it but wouldn't personally do it.

It's a bit harsh to call it murder.

I agree with what you are saying vi just don't agree with the term murder.
