well, i signed my 10 (almost 11) month old daughter up for "baby story time" at our local library. we are new to the area and she needs "socialized' a bit, but im nervous as heck, trying not to let it rub on off her, im not good with "social"situations. Hoping i can met some moms in the area too, but im also probably going to be the oldest new mom there.

I did this with my son at the same age! We made some friends and it was good for him!

Me and the mom I met are pregnant again and hoping to go together with our 2nd LOs

Have fun :)

Its FUN. me and Nika go every week and she loves it! we tend to meet kids from park there too , so its nice to see the same kids in a different setting :) story time has rules too so its a nice gentle way to introduce circle time kinda atmosphere

it was fun. lol jacinda was more interested in watching the other kinds than the story teller. and she kept trying to get to peoples shoes (have no idea why she is obsessed with shoes)

Quoting MrsWoodstock:" it was fun. lol jacinda was more interested in watching the other kinds than the story teller. and she kept trying to get to peoples shoes (have no idea why she is obsessed with shoes)"

its ok .. Nika was like that too at first, just keep story time a regular thing, every single week unless sick of course and she will ecventually start following all the story time rules :)
