It will just depend on your baby. Buy one pack pampers and one pack huggies.

Buy small packs of whatever is available to you at market. Just because one brand works for one baby does not mean it will work for another

I usually buy huggies for my son, but right now I have luvs (just because that's what MIL bought when I asked her to pick some up) Ive found that I have to go up a size on the luvs because they don't stretch like the huggies do

Quoting ღFrodoliciousღ:" Yeah, Luvs are cut smaller, but they absorb really well and didn't break DD out in rash like others ... [snip!] ... others at the time did. Now we use Parents Choice or other off brands, because we're hoping to be off of diapers pretty soon. "

honestly, I love Costco diapers. theyre just like huggies supremes....even the colors are the same.

Krogers diapers are good too -the green packs not the yellow ones. The krogers brand diapers that are basically generic 7th gen diapers are ok but aren't my first choice much the same as luvs

:!: I learned this the hard way. Pampers Swaddlers are the best for my son IMO, but I didn't like them with my daughter. It all depends on the baby, their body shape and other things.

My son would shit all up his back and belly in Luvs, and he's not a heavy duty pooper if you kwim. I wanted them to work for us so bad though. I hate paying $40 for a big box of pampers. :x

Quoting ღFrodoliciousღ:" See, DD would poop all out of her pampers, and they gave her a rash. We went to Parents Choice brand ... [snip!] ... great. Before that, from 2 months until 9 months, she used Luvs. Maybe it's the cut, and it's different for every child. "

Stupid me bought a box of PC, and as it turns out, they leak right away and the gel stuff gave him a blister like rash. He's so sensitive, I'm suprised I don't have to use Swaddlers Sensitive. Now my daughter, she could wear any diaper besides Pampers and not have a problem with them. and I agree that it's probably the cut. He's a little fat ass.

Quoting ღFrodoliciousღ:":lol: HOMG, LOL DD's a skinny minnie, though, she can wear just about anything and not poop through it, except pampers. Pampers suck ass IMO, lol. "

my son is a fat ass too. Well not so much a fat ass as he just has big ass ham hock thighs. He wears mainly sz 6 diapers because even huggies size 5s cut into his legs.

lol he's going to be 3 months on the 6th, and is growing out of 3-6 month clothes. most of his chub is in the bottom half, and he has a J.Lo booty. haha

Quoting ღFrodoliciousღ:" Mine's the same, but because of length not weight lol. She's 18 months in a 2T to 3T clothing size. Her only chub is in her little cheeks and her buddha belly."

I have a feeling he won't be too tall for anything. Both me and his dad are under 5'1"

I found huggies leaked on DS. ASDA brand nappies are great and they're about 3 quid for a pack of 44 :)
