She's 17. I don't think she knows any better.

Some people are raised that way. What is it any concern of yours to question her beliefs?

I type in all complete sentences via text. That's how people know it's me. If I texted like an idiot like you, people would be afraid I was kidnapped and murdered.

When you get older you'll realize you were.

I look back on me at 16, 17, 18 and think wtf was wrong with me? I'm sure when I'm older I'll look back on me now and wonder the same thing.

Because I am generally curious.

I didn't know it was a big deal to ask someone the basis of their opinions.

I say no father is better. I would rather look for a good male role model that wasn't the father, than have a bad one that is. My kids deserve better than that.

I had a firm grasp of the English language and could coherently organize my thoughts at 17.

I mean, she's right, they were STUPID thoughts (like thinking it's a stellar idea to move out without steady income and f**k my credit....) but i could at least put them in to words that everyone could understand

I had a terrible father and I wish my mom would have raised us on her own tbh.

Besides, I don't think children need both a mother and a father, just one good parent who can teach them how to be good citizens of the universe.

I see girls typing like this... and it's pathetic but I want to ask them if they are my niece and tell them to stop playing on the computer. The stupidity hurts.

And she's an idiot. To say that a shitty father is better than no father because they won't grow up to be that way.... Yes, sure! Let's let our kids down making a bastard p***e o* s**t stay around their kids because the mother doesn't want to explain "Well sweetie, Mommy is better off without having your father around. You are better off without him around."

I had to have that conversation with my kid, and she is in NO way harmed by not having a father around. She took that conversation in stride and is a wonderful kid. If my ex stayed around.... well she may of been taken from me and I wouldnt ever be able to see her again. He would screw with her mind... he'd make up shit like "Formula is better than breast milk" because he's a f**king ignorant ass. And the only 2 people that are good in that family was a child that didn't know any better, and a great grandfather that is now dead. So f**k the rest... to seriously say a shitty father is better because you don't want to answer questions and it may be hard.... well close your legs then. Having a child is hard, whether you are single or not.

Quoting LynMarie.xo:" have the father! the kid will learn when they are older not to be like them in the bad ways if you are ... [snip!] ... thing bc the dad is bad so it will spark the child to be anything but bc they dont want to be like that... just my opinion."

I'll say one thing... my kid doesn't need to be around her p***e o* s**t father to grow up amazing and use him as an excuse to be amazing. No, raise your children to be amazing without harmful people in their lives. f**k having the excuse of "You can do better than your father!" No... "You can do better as a person because you are beautiful inside!" See... no need to bring up the shitty parent.
