Been super busy round these parts.

Questions what settings are ideal for indoor with crappy lighting and no external flash :(
I know I'll shoot RAW so I can try and fix exposure issues. But any suggestions would be good.
Thanks!

I'm feeling pretty shiesty about my pictures lately. I started shooting raw, but I'm just down.

A couple I've snapped in the last few days

They're super cute mom shots.
And I'm the same way.
I have these great ideas in my head and just can't produce them yet and it's really frustrating.

If you only have the kit lens you're going to be pretty SOL. lol.
Put it in manual, drop the aperture to 3.5(pretty sure that's the lowest the kid lens can go), try shutter speed around 100-160 and a higher ISO of maybe 1000. Just toy around with it and open as many windows as you can

Ya I know. lol
I love getting practice and lots of friends/family are willing to let me do so. I'm then just a perfectionist and so afraid of screwing up their stuff.
Thanks!

NP. The kit lens really isn't TOO bad for outdoor stuff or good lighting, but low light it falls a bit. Hopefully with RAW and a higher ISO you'll be able to get some good stuff!

Thanks! And I am still learning to get things the way I want and not just lucking into a good shot. And that's where I think I am right now.
